Before you start using IDpack, we want you to understand the logic behind the software and get an idea of how it operates. IDpack works in a completely different way from our competitors' software because IDpack comes with two separate components. At InnoTechnix, we decided to separate Badge Design from Badge Production, so we created IDpack Designer and IDpack Producer, which together make up IDpack Free Edition. There is a reason for this: when you have produced a badge design that is to be used at an event to print anything from hundreds up to tens of thousands of cards, you do not want anyone on the network to be able to interfere with the design of the badge in any way. This is a major security advantage that you will not find in other software. In addition, when printing on a network, the smaller sized software means you save on computer processing power which leads to faster production.

So, first you open IDpack Designer and design the badge you want to produce, including any objects such as Picture, Image, Text, Database Field, Barcode... etc. When you have finished, DO NOT TRY TO PRINT YOUR BADGES WITH IDPACK DESIGNER as there is no print function. Instead, save your badge layout and open it again using IDpack Producer. Then, to print badges, use Add Badge, take your picture (if required) and print the card with IDpack Producer. For further information, see the links below.

IDpack was created not only to produce badges,

but to produce them massively! And it works!
