IDpack Producer

The following section will show you how to print your first badges with IDpack Free Edition. Before completing the following steps, you must have successfully designed a badge using IDpack Designer. To do this, please refer to the Quick Start section in the IDpack Designer instructions.

 

Steps:

1.Start IDpack Producer. To do this, you should click on your Windows Start Menu clip0058 Programs clip0058 IDpack, then click on IDpack Producer;
2.You should now see a Camera Setup window
3.If you do not see this screen, proceed to Step 6;
4.On this screen you must choose your capture device if you have one. If you have a webcam and it is properly installed, you should find it in the Camera pull-down menu;
5.When you have configured your camera, click Next and then click Finish to finish using the Wizard;
6.IDpack Producer is now open. On the menu select clip0071 File clip0058 Open;
7.Go to the directory c:\badgelayout that you created. Please refer to the Quick Start section of IDpack Designer if you have not yet created a badge;
8.Select the file name QuickStart.idp and click Open;
9.You are now ready to print your first badges. Click on Add Badge in the upper toolbar;
10.In the Add Badge screen, enter the information for the first badge and click OK;
11.If a webcam is properly installed, you should see an image. Click on Capture Picture to take a photo;
12.If a printer is properly installed, you should see the Print Badge button underneath the badge information. Click on it to print your ID card.

 

Congratulations! You have produced your first badges. You can now take the time to go through the whole documentation concerning IDpack Designer and IDpack Producer and refine the process.
